How to track SES 5 and Eutelsat 7 degree East with single Lnb
I want to enlightened some of my, fans who are
finding it difficult to track SES 5 @ 5 degree
East Ku band. You can actually track SES 5 @ 5
degree East Ku band on two different directions,
that is on East ( Multi TV position) and South-
East directon ( Azam TV direction).
Note that, when you track it on East (Multi TV
position), you may not get Eutelsat 7 East but
when you track it on South by East direction,
then you have 90% chances of getting Eutelsat
7 degree East and SES 5 together. The dish
above is SES 5/Eutelsat 7 East dish. Your dish
should face south, i.e South East, close to west.
It is roughly between 170 and 200 degrees
azimuth with Elevation of 82 degree . In other
words, elevation pivot bolt should be at 58 - 60
degree mark if you are using 60/90cm offset
dish. Don't forget, the lower the degree, the
higher your dish will be.
Finally, to track SES 5 and Eutelsat 7 East
together on one lnb, simply track SES 5 with
frequency 12015 V 30000, 12034 H 27500.
Raise your signal as higher as position you can
and blinscan, Eutelsat 7 East will automatically
fall in. But sometimes, location can be a
hindrance, if Eutelsat 7 degree East didn't fall in
automatically, then input Eutelsat 7 degree East
frequency after tracking SES 5 and adjust your
dish to hit green. Try to balance the signal of
the two bird before you finally round up. Use
this frequency for 7 East, 10928 H 30000, 10887
H 30000. You would require 90cm or 60cm dish size for
better result
